Volunteer & Support
The Friends of the Libraries of Barnwell County is powered by volunteers – people just like you who believe in the value of free public libraries and want to give back to their community. Whether you have a few hours a month or just want to help with one event, there’s a place for you with the Friends!
Volunteer Opportunities
We’re always looking for volunteers to:
- Assist at local events and festivals
- Help with membership drives and fundraising
- Host or support author talks and reading programs
- Organize books for sale in the Friends book nook
- Support behind-the-scenes tasks like organizing, communications, social media
- Lend your skills – photography, writing, graphic design, or simply a willingness to lend a hand!
Student volunteers are welcome and can earn service hours through our events and outreach activities
